Key West's S.O.B. was born in our kitchen in 1991. After one year of selling to the public and gathering 52 accounts, my husband and myself opened a small restaurant. At this point we only made BBQ sauce — mild and hot. In 1993 we opened a small factory in Big Pine Key, FL for the production of our BBQ sauces. In a little over one year we had out grown that facility.

In 1995, we moved to Deland, Florida, where we had a 15,000 manufacturing facility. May 1st, 2004, we have moved into a 40,000 sq. ft. facility that let us triple our capacity for growth. The new facility is complete with 5 steam-lined filling stations: retail, institutional, portion control cups, pouches and drums.

Complete with 3 loading docks, our shipping and receiving has gotten more streamlined for the trucker that has to back in to either drop off or pick up.

Besides our diabetic/sugar free line of dressings, ISLAND GROVE LITE; we are pleased to announce our OLD DIXIE BBQ's (Canadian Style BBQ), FLORIDA BAY SEAFOOD SAUCES, and our new drink mixes "TASTE OF THE ISLANDS!" Florida Gourmet Foods now have over 100 items for our customers to choose from.
